Spotlight: Emaylia and K Rock Bring Soulful Vibes to The Sixth Floor
TCF, in collaboration with The Sixth Floor and So Good Lancaster, hosted an enchanting evening with Emaylia, a rising star from Queens, New York, accompanied by the rhythmic talents of K Rock on drums. This duo brought a fusion of Jazz and R&B to our Sixth Floor venue, creating a night to remember.
Musical Roots and New Horizons
Emaylia, who began her musical journey at the age of five, has evolved her style to reflect the influences of legends like Amy Winehouse and Bill Withers. Her soulful R&B and Jazz renditions, evident in her debut EP “Van Gogh,” captivated the audience. Alongside K Rock’s compelling drumbeats, the duo promised – and delivered – a night of chill vibes and memorable music.
An Intimate Musical Experience
With doors opening at 7:30 PM, the event kicked off at 8:30 PM in a cozy, BYOB setting. Guests enjoyed light refreshments and mocktails, enhancing the relaxed atmosphere of the performance. The intimate setting of The Sixth Floor, known for its comfort and laid-back ambiance, was the perfect match for Emaylia and K Rock’s soulful sounds.
